Giffard Ginger of the Indies is a high-quality liqueur based on fresh ginger. It is produced in France by the traditional company Giffard, which has 130 years of experience in liqueur production.

The liqueur impresses with its intense and exotic taste. For the production, ginger peels from Asia are macerated in neutral alcohol. The flavour is rounded off with vanilla, orange blossom water and a pinch of coriander.

Colour and aroma

Giffard Ginger of the Indies has a beautiful straw-yellow colour. Its aroma is a beguiling blend of the pungency of ginger, a sweet vanilla note and the floral aroma of orange blossom.

Taste

On the palate, the sweet and soft side of the liqueur is evident at first. However, the pungency and spiciness of the ginger sets in at lightning speed. This is accompanied by a light citrus note. The liqueur skilfully plays with the contrasts between sweet and spicy.

Versatile use

Giffard Ginger of the Indies is a great base liqueur for exotic cocktails and long drinks. It goes perfectly with gin, vodka, rum and other spirits. It is particularly delicious in a Moscow Mule, Dark 'n' Stormy or Penicillin Cocktail. But the ginger liqueur is also an enrichment purely on ice or for cooking.
