Craigellachie 13 Years is a single malt Scotch whisky matured for 13 years from the traditional Craigellachie distillery in the Speyside region of Scotland. This fine drop combines traditional craftsmanship and modern whisky art.

Maturation in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks

After distillation, the Craigellachie 13 Years initially matures for at least 3 years in ex-bourbon casks. This is followed by maturation in the solera system, in which the casks are never completely emptied. Finally, the whisky matures for up to 10 months in ex-sherry casks made from European oak. This gives it its complex aromatic notes.

Multi-layered aromas

A bouquet of vanilla, caramelized fruit, dark chocolate and spices such as cinnamon and ginger unfolds on the nose. On the palate, the Craigellachie 13 Years is creamy and full-bodied with notes of orange zest, roasted almonds, licorice and a hint of peat smoke on the finish.
