The history

The Aberfeldy distillery was founded in 1898 by John Dewar and has been producing high-quality single malt whiskies ever since. The distillery's water comes from the Pitilie Burn, a river known for its pure water quality and gold deposits - hence the nickname "The Golden Dram".
