Discover the exquisite Aberfeldy 18 YO Cabernet Sauvignon Wine Casks Finish, a limited edition that combines the traditional craftsmanship of Aberfeldy with the contemporary flair of the best wine casks from the Napa Valley in California. This whisky is initially matured for 18 years in a combination of refill and hogshead casks before being finished for around 15 months in ex-Cabernet Sauvignon wine casks from the Napa Valley.

Finishing in the wine casks gives the whisky an opulent note and deepens the intriguing red berry flavors. You'll discover undertones of green apple, honey-soaked floral notes and a rich, velvety texture, followed by a smooth and mellow finish. The nose offers a blend of cranberry, toffee apples, floral honey and oak spice. On the palate, flavors of marmalade, vanilla, cinnamon, stewed apple and coffee unfold, leading into a finish of raspberry syrup and honeycomb. This whisky is part of Aberfeldy's Red Wine Cask Collection, which was launched in 2019 and showcases some of the finest wine casks from wineries around the world. The series was created by Stephanie Macleod, the Malt Master at Aberfeldy.
